We are a group of companies positioned at the forefront of the regional renewable energy sector, with particular expertise in wind energy and small hydro power.
The origins of Grupo Adelanta date back to 1957 and a small family business that operated a small hydro power plant on the River Deva in the municipality of Quintela de Leirado (Ourense).
Since those early days, Grupo Adelanta has gradually consolidated
its position in the renewable energies market with the construction of further small hydro power plants and a number of wind farms in the Autonomous Community of Galicia, as well as taking part as an investment partner in a number of other projects in the rest of Spain and Europe.
The group is constantly assessing new opportunities for projects that fit in with its technical and economic standards for inclusion in its project development portfolio.
The various companies that make up Grupo Adelanta are staffed by highly experienced staff with outstanding expertise in the renewable energy sector. This enables the group to deliver first class engineering,
maintenance and operational services for wind and hydro power plants, as well as integral management services covering areas such as taxation, accounting, finance and legislation, via Adelanta Corporación, S.A., the group’s parent company.
